Reynold John Malousek, 77 of Wahoo, NE, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at his home in Wahoo. He was born on June 3, 1937 in Weston, NE to John and Eleanor (Tvrdy) Malousek. He served his country in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany, until he was honorably discharged. On November 5, 1960, Reynold was united in marriage to Georgianne Kratky in Council Bluffs, IA. For over 40 years, he has been self-employed operating heavy machinery, working mainly in agriculture.
Reynold was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and American Legion #82 in Wahoo. He loved dogs, baseball, playing with his grandchildren, and having coffee with friends. He also enjoyed polka music and caring for his garden.
He is survived by wife of 54 years, Georgianne Malousek; children, Mark (Tammi) Malousek of Papillion, Curtis (Ginger) Malousek of Lincoln, Todd (Cynthia) Malousek of Houston, TX, Steven (Kelli) Malousek of Omaha; grandchildren, Jerry (Jessica) Saab, Jenna (Jason) Sobotka, Rachel Duckett, Caleb Malousek, Kelsey and Carter Malousek, Olivia and Maria Malousek; great-granddaughter, Mia Sobotka; brothers, LeRoy (Sharon) Malousek, James (Jean) Malousek, Dennis (Deb) Malousek, and Bernie Malousek; sister, Lucille Trojan; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Eleanor Malousek; brothers, Mike Malousek and Gene Malousek.
Rev. Charles Townsend will be the celebrant.
Many prayers for you all! Reynold was a kind and wonderful man. He will be missed. I will say a prayer at church Monday morning for you Reynold and I will hold you in in my prayers this week. We will not come to Nebraska for the funeral but I will spend some time this summer with you Georgianne! You are welcome to come stay with us anytime. We love you all! Blessings!

Prayers and condolences to the Malousek family. Reynold was such a great man….he will be missed!
Reynold was one of the coolest patients I have ever cared for. ….We just “clicked”, because his values and work ethics were so much like my own fathers. He is certainly already missed, but I have some fun and happy memories of the last three years with him! You will miss him too, but he is smiling down on all of us with that sly grin.
