In Care of the Family

Ronald E. Fisher, 78 of Wahoo, NE, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at South Haven Living Center in Wahoo. He was born February 26, 1936 in Fairbury, NE to Robert and Mary (Krause) Fisher. Ron grew-up in Fairbury and graduated from Fairbury High School in 1955. He served his country in the U.S. Army until he was honorably discharged in 1960. In May of 1993, he was married to Sharon (Mitchell) Ketchum. He worked for many years with the Nebraska Department of Roads until his retirement. Family was always important to Ron and so were his cars. He loved collecting cars, especially Ford’s.

He is survived by brothers, Francis (Carolyn) Fisher of Omaha and Roger (Barbara) Fisher of Wahoo; sisters, Karen Neemann of Fairbury and Joan (Melvin) Peters of Beatrice; many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Fisher; parents; and sister, Delores Clegg.

Pastor Glenda Ferguson will be officiating the service.
