Thomas J. Newell, 90 of Yutan, NE entered into eternal rest Friday, February 18, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 16, 1932 in Chicago, IL to Michael and Mary (Burke) Newell.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Newell; children, Michael (Constance) Newell of Ruskin, FL, Julie (Todd) Eich of Omaha, NE and Laura (Bradley) Schroeder of Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Sydney, Ava and Ethan Schroeder, Adam and Emily Eich, Connor and Ian Newell.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, James Newell.

Mr. Newell was as much a part of my childhood as Laura was. I remember when he owned the Harley store in Colorado Springs and would let us pick out clothes and accessories for Halloween! That was so fun! He was always kind and welcoming. I’m sorry to hear he’s gone. But what a long life we’ll- lived.
